I was drawn to this painting by Dreama Tolle Perry, due to its bright colors and loose paint strokes. While looking at Dreama's art, I began wondering how fabric could be used to interpret those loose paint strokes. My goal was to create a quilt that maintained the impressionist style of the original quilt.

This is my cat Murray. He is a lilac point siamese.

This is a quilt that I made a few years ago in honor of my 25th Wedding Anniversary. My husband is from Canada (British Colombia) I am from US (originally from Nebraska). I tried to incorporate items from Canada (maple leaf, bears, beavers) and US (stars and stripes, liberty bell, eagles). I also included our first house in Lincoln Nebraska and my family farm in Dannebrog Nebraska.
